Vocal Coach Garden Grove, CA – Appell Voice Studio

At the first lesson Thomas had me singing higher than I’ve ever sung before – I extended my full voice range by 7 notes!”

“I extended my full voice range by an octave on the first day of training – and it was not hard!

At first I thought it was too good to be true (training with Thomas Appell) – the reviews I saw on the internet but it’s absolutely that – it’s incredible.

“Thomas taught Sam how to sing high notes without straining, how to sing with vibrato, and style. He’s an awesome vocal coach.”

“The first day of training I hit a tenor high C in full voice! If you’re out there and you’re thinking about whether you should come or not – you should come. You should come see Thomas.”

Can You Sing a HIGH C Without Straining? If not I can show you how. You were born with the ability to sing high notes, but because you haven’t practiced using the muscles involved in singing the right way you can’t do it. When trying, all you get for your effort is a sore throat. For example, try moving the middle toe on your right foot without moving the other toes. Can’t do it? That’s because you haven’t practiced moving your toes independently. All five toes want to curl. The same thing happens when you sing. While attempting to sing a high note if you engage the wrong muscles you’re going to strain and get pretty well stuck on a low pitch while working way to hard to even get that far up. There are certain muscles involved in singing that need to be controlled independently. If you haven’t learned to do this, you won’t be able to sing high notes – at least not without straining.

I’ll teach you how to understand exactly what these muscles are, how your voice works, clear up any mystery you may now have about your voice and give you a vocal technique that will allow you to sing effortlessly throughout a wide range. I’ll also teach you how to sing with vibrato, how to breathe correctly for singing, how to stylize and how to sing in tune.

My studio is fairly close to enough to Garden Grove, CA. If you’re interested in singing lessons and want to learn how to sing better than you’ve ever dreamed you could I would love to help you – and yes I train kids starting at age seven. My first recommendation is to watch the video testimonials below. Although I’ve trained more than 4,000 singers and have established a pretty amazing track record of success for the singers I train, I don’t want you to take my word for it. See what other successful singers are saying about what I’ve done for them.

I’ve also written one of the best-selling books in the world about singing, Can You Sing a HIGH C Without Straining? which for a limited time is available for FREE by simply entering your email address here. Why am I doing something crazy like giving away a book that has sold all over the world for $20? I’m on a mission to give away 1,000,000 copies of my book! My goal is to show everyone who sings how easy it is to unlock the mystery of singing high notes.

My book is a great resource but not intended to take the place of the fastest way to improve your voice – private training. If you’d like to try an introductory lesson click here. Also, this isn’t the home page for my website – it’s just a page created for singers that live near Garden Grove so have some fun exploring the rest of the site by clicking on all of the tabs at the top of this page.

May God bless your singing!

Tiffany Alvord

YouTube Superstar With More Than 1.8 Million Subscribers

“Hey guys, I’m Tiffany Alvord (1,800,000+ YouTube subscribers and 350,000,000 + channel views https://www.youtube.com/user/tiffanyalvord). When I first came to Thomas I could barely sing a B above middle C in full voice. I always felt like I was straining, that I didn’t have power, that I’d never be a strong singer and never be able to belt (code for singing high notes in full voice). But then I found Thomas – it’s kind of a funny story. My mom was actually watching one of my videos and there was an ad on the side that said “Wanna sing a HIGH C?” So she said, “Oh, we might as well give it a try.”

I’d been to a couple of voice coaches before but no one taught me the right way to sing. Then I met Thomas and at the first lesson he had me singing higher than I’d ever sung before. He’s kind of like a magician. Now I can easily sing a HIGH C and even higher than that so I’m really excited because now I know that it really is all about technique. You can’t limit yourself by saying you can’t sing because you can if you want to.

I highly recommend Thomas Appell’s voice coaching because he knows what he’s talking about. And what’s really cool about his vocal training is that he also does via Skype. So you can do it anywhere – all the way around the world. So if I’m traveling I could Skype him and we could still have our vocal lesson.

Thomas Appell actually has a book and he has in the book everything you need to know about your voice. And what’s really cool is that once you learn what’s going on inside of you when you’re singing, you can learn what you need to do in order to sing high – in order to belt a HIGH C. All of that is in his book, Can You Sing a HIGH C Without Straining? Now I can proudly say I can – and it’s all because of Thomas. Bye!”

Ben Zarai

Emmy Award Winning Composer and Music Producer

“I’ve been a musician all of my life and one of the things that I’ve always wanted to do is to be able to sing very well but I always felt very limited because my normal speaking voice is a baritone and I could never seem to be able to hit a note higher than about E above middle C and have it sound halfway decent. A little bit about my background – I’ve been a musician but my profession is post production audio. I’ve done a lot of work over the years with different people. One of my biggest clients was James Cameron and I was fortunate enough to win an Emmy award for sound editing on a project I did with him. I started one week ago (training) with Thomas. That very first day I hit in full voice a high E thanks to the techniques that Thomas showed me and it was not hard. I actually was able to do it very easily and realize that this is an octave above the E that I previously had to really strain to hit. Now it’s been one week. I’m back and today I hit a high Ab (above tenor high C) and it sounds probably better than the E (above tenor High C) that I hit the week before. I’m very excited about the possibilities this is opening up for me. I’m going to be able to sing things I never thought I would ever be able to sing much sooner than I ever thought I’d be able to do it and it’s all thanks to Thomas’ instruction, following his advice and practicing the lessons that he’s given me.”

Jake Rush

USC Musical Theatre Major

“Hi my name’s Jake Rush and I came to see Thomas because I’m going to be a theatre major at USC in two months. I had a short amount of time to get my voice ready for being in plays/musicals there. I found Thomas on his website online. I figured supervised (daily) training would be the best way to go because I had such a short amount of time to train my voice.

At first I thought it was too good to be true – the reviews I saw on the internet but it’s absolutely that – it’s incredible. When I first came in I could barely sing an F above middle C (F4). Now I’m singing comfortably up to an F above tenor high C (F5 in full voice – not falsetto) – a full octave of improvement. I’ve improved every aspect of my singing. I would very much recommend this (training with Thomas) to anyone that’s considering it.”

Sam Santiago

8 Year Old Singing Sensation

“Hello this is Carmina Santiago, Sam Santiago’s mom and I just wanted to say thank you to Thomas Appell for training Sam, teaching him how to sing high notes without straining, how to sing with vibrato, and style. The times we’ve been to his recording studio he was very patient with Sam. He’s got a lot of techniques that he got him to sing very well and I would greatly recommend him to everyone out there. He’s an awesome vocal coach.”

Check out Sam singing Rolling In the Deep at age 8. It will blow you away!

David Tehadillas

Karaoke Singer From Tokyo, Japan

“I saw your book, I ordered it, and I liked what I saw. I looked you up. I sent you an email and we arranged the lessons. I knew it was going to be good but this has blown away any expectations I had. This has just been so amazing. The first day I hit a tenor high C in full voice. Today (second day) I hit a soprano high C in falsetto which is really, really cool. If you’re out there and you’re thinking about whether you should come or not – you should come. You should come see Thomas.”
